Killik & Co has hired a new head of wealth planning to replace Sarah Lord.

Svenja Keller will take up the role with immediate effect and will be responsible for developing the wealth planning arm of the firm.

Keller joins Killik from Investec Wealth & Investment, where she spent a year as financial planning director, tasked with building that firm’s financial planning team.

Previously, she held roles at UBS Wealth Management as deputy head of financial planning, head of paraplanning and financial planning administration, and Keller also worked in for PwC Wealth Advisory.

‘Svenja has extensive experience in financial planning and her strong commitment to building positive, long-term client relationships will be incredibly valuable as we continue to grow on our significant planning credentials,’ said senior executive officer Paul Killik.

Keller added: ‘I am very excited to be joining the team and look forward to building on the fantastic work that Killik & Co is doing in this space.’

Lord left the business at the end of March this year to pursue other opportunities within the industry.
